As a REALTOR®, I am dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized service for all of my clients. I spend time getting to know my clients as individuals with their own needs and objectives. There is no one standard approach to sell or purchase a home. I offer individualized marketing strategies, use advanced technology, and deliver white glove service. I am available seven days a week. You can be at ease when you hire me. You will be communicating with me either face to face, on the phone, or by email. I am happy to discuss your questions, concerns and ideas. I have lived in historic Church Hill since 2005. As a longtime resident of Church Hill, I understand that our homes are as unique as the people who inhabit them. I enjoy showcasing older and historic homes in the city. I am able to point out their best qualities and features, share stories about their past, and identify distinctive architectural details.

I specialize in Old and Historic Homes in the Richmond area, and you might be wondering why I'm so passionate about these unique properties. Well, my fascination with older homes began during my upbringing in Florida, a place not known for its historical residences. As a child, I relished visits to historic museums, where I marveled at the architectural splendor of these time-honored houses.

My journey into the world of historic homes continued when I graduated from college and settled in Savannah, GA, a city steeped in rich history and character. Since 2000, I've made my home in various Virginia Historic Districts, with Church Hill becoming my beloved residence in 2005. The allure of tree-lined streets, friendly neighbors, and the exquisite charm of these homes keeps me deeply rooted here.

Yet, my expertise in historic homes extends beyond appreciation for their grandeur. Buying and selling these properties involves more than just admiring their beauty. It requires an in-depth understanding of the renovation process within the city's guidelines. Additionally, one must navigate unique challenges, like the Right of First Refusal for the Richmond Historic Foundation. While it's an honor to own a home preserved by them, it also presents additional hurdles. Fortunately, I possess the knowledge and experience needed to navigate these intricacies seamlessly.

Amy's list of accomplishments includes a BSBA in Finance from the University of Florida. Her professional journey has predominantly revolved around the housing industry. Beginning her career at Home Depot, she steadily advanced to become a general store manager. Later, she spent numerous years as a home investor, engaging in property renovations, and in 2016, she obtained her Real Estate Agent's license. Her unwavering pursuit of excellence also led her to acquire a broker's license.

In the realm of real estate, Amy distinguished herself by achieving the esteemed Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) designation, a pinnacle accolade within the realm of seller representation. Through this accomplishment, she integrated herself into a global community of accomplished REALTORS who leverage their collective knowledge and ethical standards to effectively advocate for sellers. Furthermore, Amy earned the distinguished title of Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), a hallmark achievement in the realm of buyer-centric representation. It is worth noting that both the SRS and ABR designations hold endorsement from the National Association of Realtors. Most recently, Amy earned the designation of a CRS Realtor - a Certified Residential Specialist, placing her among the top 2 percent of real estate agents in the U.S.  Amy is an esteemed member of the Richmond Association of Realtors, the Virginia Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. 

Amy's exceptional skills in her field gained recognition when she was named one of Richmond's most referred real estate agents in Richmond Magazine for consecutive years: 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. Moreover, she was honored with the prestigious Five Star Real Estate Agent award in 2024, a testament to her fulfillment of five objective eligibility and evaluation criteria that underscore her unwavering commitment to delivering top-notch services to her clients.
